Fused glass or also known as slumped glass is a kiln work process. Each tray is made up hand cut pieces of glass.
Those pieces are arrange and tacked together before firing. Like ceramics, they go through a two step kiln firing process.
The first firing is used the individual glass pieces together. Then the second firing is to "slump" the glass into the desired shape, using gravity, lower temps, and molds.
